S. B. S.Galata Kulesi'nin karsisindan Cihangir yonune dogeu inen sokagin icinde, biraz gizli kalmis cok hos ve insanin icini oksayan bir mekan. Kendimi boyle bir ozenle ugrasilmis evimde hissiyati veren sicacik bir ortamda gibi hissettim. Gidip sessizce kitap okuyabileceginiz, sohbet edebileceginiz veya laptop acip calisabileceginiz kaliteli ve entellektuel insanlarla ayni ortami paylasabileceginiz bir konsept. Mavra Cayi ictim gayet guzeldi, tavsiye ederim.
g. k.Arkadaş tavsiyesi ile gelip saatlerce kaldigimiz sıcacık mekan. Isletmecisi o kadar seker ve Güler yüzlü, konuskan biri k,i birakin cayi kahveyi onu tanısanız sırf icin gelirsiniz.
N. İ.Arkadaslarimla burada keyifli vakit gecirmeyi taze caylarini ve anne pastalarini seviyorum. En sevdigim kismi iceri girdiginde gordugunuz ilk yuvarlak masa, calisan insanlar da cok guler yuzlu. Kendinizi evinizde hissedebileceginiz bir yer Mavra

Y.Mekan, yer çok güzel. Yiyecek/İçecek çok güzel, fiyatlar bir tık yüksek ama değiyor. Gelin gelelim çalışanlarına ben bir müşteri olarak velinimetim, gelin ki saygısızlık yapmadım gayet normal davrandım, yüzümüze bakılmıyor, bir şey söylüyoruz dinlenmiyor hadi her şeyi geçtim uzun süre kalınca bir çalışan demesin mi “Burası sizin eviniz değil.” Senin de karşında çocuğun yok beyefendi. Çalışan kişilerin “saygıyı, iş aşkını” bilen insanlar olmasını tercih ederim...
O. O.Yemekleri, özellikle falafeli oldukça güzel, galata kulesine çok yakın olmasına rağmen gürültüsüz bir mekân. O çevrede olup oturacak nezih bir yer arayanlara öneririm.

İstanbul yokuşları yorar, ancak sıkmaz.
Çünkü her sokağı her köşesi o kadar güzeldir ki.
Yoruldunuz mu, o ara sokaklarda çok güzel kahve molası verecek mekanlar var.
Sakin müzik ve güzel kokulu kahveden sonra yola devam.
Yorulduysanız mola için harika bir dükkan.

h. t.Dip tarafı biraz havasız ve nemli kahve iyi klima her an çalışmadığından içerisi nemli ve sabun-deterjan kokulu.
U. K.Gürültüsüz, özenle tasarlanmış, ev rahatladığında bir cafe. Düzgün kahve düzgün yiyecek. Serdar-i Ekrem’de Doğan apartmanının tam karşısında.
N. K.Harika falafel yapıyorlar. Çok lezzetli. Hem kahve hem de bitkisel icicekler şahane. Bir de ortamı huzurlu

C. S.Found this cafe on one of my favourite streets in Istanbul, food I ordered was delicious and flavourful. I do think the falafel I ordered was a little sour, probably too much acid added (and hopefully not because it has gone slightly sour) but it was still really good and texture was perfect, hummus was great too. Scrambled eggs were good too! Really stylish cafe, probably conducive for work. It’s a little dim inside so maybe great for work if you’re only using a laptop.

V. D.Harika kahve, dinlendirici bir atmosfer… Turist kalabalığıyla karşılaştıktan sonra bu süper büyüleyici yeri tesadüfen bulmak bize iyi geldi.

H.Perfect place to stop for lunch. Such a nice change from the busy overpriced places elsewhere in the city. Quiet, good food, nice range of things and extremely good value. The chocolate cake was heaven! The little street is so beautiful -could sit and people watch for hours
N.Tolles kleines Café, sehr gute Musikauswahl und ein ganz fantastischer Lemon Cheesecake.
Der Wintertee ist ebenfalls sehr zu empfehlen!

S. B.Bölgedeki en güzel caddelerden birinde son derece samimi kafe/restoran. Çok vejetaryen ve vegan odaklı menü (ancak özel değil), yemekler gerçekten iyi+++ ve fiyatlar çok düşük. Güzel personel!

E. D.My visit was more annoying that otherwise:
1. the wifi didn't work, and took a while to get it fixed
(however it was excellent when it finally worked, so most of the time this is probably a good thing)
2. the grilled (or rather, charred on the outside and raw inside) vegetable plate was depressing. No seasoning -- literally nothing, they were grilled dry, without oil, as far as I could tell, not even salt. The salad in the center was tasty though! My consolation is that it was a very healthy meal -- but at the price I'd expect something with flavor...or at least a few more veggies.
3. When I wanted to get the check it took about 30 minutes to get hold of the waiter. Not his fault; he was very busy. But added to my inclination not to go back.
Probably an excellent place if you know what to order and know how to get hold of the waiters. ;-) I'm a bit quiet, which hasn't been a problem elsewhere in Turkey, but may have contributed to #3.

F. M.I've been here twice and had different experiences.
My first visit I ordered the Quinoa Salad and it took around 45 minutes to serve. The menu said it came with beetroot but mine didnt. I was working on my laptop and the place has enough tables for people to work or hang out with friends, so that is a plus. However, the service was not great. The young guy that was serving me was too invested in hanging out with his buddies outside. He also seemed very unamused to be there or working - I felt like he was angry with me because I was ordering and keeping him away from his friends. It was around 6-7 PM (after work hours), either way it doesn't make up for the service.
The second time I went was to work again and the experience was better. I ordered the vegan burger and it was okay. I've noticed a trend here in Istanbul with the vegan burgers - they do not add some kind of sauce to the burger, something as simple as ketchup would make it better. The service was a bit better. It was during the day time around lunch time and the girl that was attending me was very neutral. It seems like both servers do not like working there - I mean at least smile a little when attending customers.
This place gets 3 stars mainly because the decorations are cool, lots of tables for sitting and working on laptops. The internet is okay every now and then.
D. v. d. b.If you're out for some good breakfast, while checking your email or social media, this is the place. Street is not too Busy, choice is big enough to have an Alternative to the same breakfast each day at your hotel.
J. H.The best place we've visited in Istanbul so far on our trip. Great atmosphere, friendly staff who are very down to earth and really good food. A calm place to eat in an otherwise busy city. The pasta we had for dinner was some of the best we've tasted ever - super fresh! Will definitely go again.
R. M.This is like your own home, only much cooler. The staff are relaxed, the food varies and good (including vegetarian and vegan options) and the mulled wine extremely cheap and tasty!

C. R.Cool cafe, a bit dark at the back though. the waiter was friendly but we had to remind him twice of things we had ordered but hadn't received. the alarm system was also constantly beeping every 3 seconds and the staff didn't know how to switch it off.
B. O.I was looking for a new place to have a coffee. I came across with Mavra Cafe in a very narrow street. It is a very warm place with good coffee and food options. Staff are quite kind and taste is really good. And it is a very tranquil place... perfect for reading book with a tasteful coffee :)

F. G.Small cosi original place to have a coffee, work and eat well for a very reasonable price. Was there to carry a conference call while working in Istanbul and besides the a little noisy environment (it was full), the experience was very pleasant. Try the lemon cheese cake.

The cafe is too noisy to do any kind of work, the atmosphere used to be good but now it is kind of a hang out den for the same people everyday. So the customers are disregarded by the staff. Got to be a regular to get attention, which is absolute horse sh**.
