D. W.This was our first ever taste of Turkey. It was cold as hell outside, but inside it was tasty warm with a heater in the middle that threw off so much heat it was lovely. Even though we did not buy in Calis, we pop back in there every now and then when we can. The food is so good I always wish I could eat more. The sunsets are so magical from there. Guven's is a little piece of heaven that is just waiting for you to visit.
S. M.Travelling through Calis Beach on our way home to Dalyan. Stopped off for quick lunch. We both had fish and chips, delicious. Crispy beer batter on big portion of Whiting. Hand cut chips. Fresh salad. 40tl.
Cold large efes 25tl. And a view to die for! Hosts Guven and Carole, are really lovely. We will return.

It's not trying to coax you in with freebies etc. It's simply authentic, generous and relaxed. We've waited 2x years to come back. Nothing has changed, only we have some more wrinkles and pounds😊 . Thanks to Carol, Guven and staff. We'll see u again over the next 2x weeks. Absolutely recommend this place for breakfast, lunch, dinner or just drinks. Love the quirky seat near the olive tree. 🌿🍻

D. J. C.Lovely place, right on the beach just past the end of the promenade, which makes it a bit quieter and more relaxed. Eat a good variety of styles of well prepared food with the magnificent backdrop of amazing sunsets. Near to the spot where part of the Bond movie Skyfall was filmed. Güven and Carol are lovely, attentive hosts, but equally, will leave you to enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings without giving their guests any hassle.
There are free sunbeds on the beach during the day (as long as you buy very reasonably priced drinks/meals), 2 free pool tables and English Premier League (vitally important for Dad) and other european football shown in the main building (usually with a choice of match). Güven's became the most visited spot during our holiday to Çalış Beach as the kids became grumpy if we went anywehere else!
For beer fans, they also sell "Pera", which at least makes a change from the ubiquitous "Efes" (which admittedly is rather good anyway). If you prefer wine, the bottles were all reasonably priced too.
This was our first visit, but it was interesting to note how many customers had obviously visited in previous years too and were now returning.
Finally, be sure to try the şakşuka ("Shack-shoo-ka"), a veggie turkish casserole served in clay dish.

h. a.You can eat while the waves crash at the beach. They let u enjoy their sun beds and umbrellas. Food isn't that expensive. They speak good English.
P. M.I have just booked Calis beach for August.
It is three years since I was last in town and having travelled around the world Calis beach is the only place that draws me back.
Guven’s were some of my best memories of the place we have even selected a hotel closer to them.
The hospitality is first class and food is right up in my ratings.
Try it I recommend to all travelling going to Calis.
