The food is tasty, but … we apparently there were two restaurants combined and we got the menu of only one of them which is really unfortunate because we see people eating and receiving food and different menus and it was all a big mess After we were given menus from only one of the restaurants the prices in the same menus had significant differences, some dishes didnt even have prices which pointed to the fact that the particular meal is not available. We had different meals ,,missing’’ which was really confusing. As we know the first impression is the most important so we weren’t left with a good overall opinion The food was good but that didn’t make up for the bad mood.

Almost certainly the best restaurant in Ćalis. We've been three times so far during our two weeks in Ćalis and tried six different main courses from the menu. All have been excellent and we will probably go back again before we leave. We have tried a number of other restaurants in the area and honestly none have come close in terms of quality and value. It's also worth noting that the service is also fantastic. I look forward to visiting again many times in the future and only hope it's guaranteed success doesn't make it too busy!

Motif restaurant is an absolute MUST when you are in Calis, Fethiye. Great service, genuine hospitality from owners Nikola & Dogan, and the food is an amazing culinary experience. From the Gavurdagi salad to the Dana (Veal) Matancana my taste buds were locked in a pleasure dance. So much so that returning to Motif was the obvious thing to do the following night. This time, the Visneli Kebab surpassed my expectations. Fresh cherries take the forefront in this dish making it a memorable one. The white wine was actually very cold too, something most other restaurants can’t seem to achieve. Do make a stop to this wonderful place! You won’t regret it!

Three of us ate at Motif Restaurant over Easter weekend. It was a windy day so rather than sit at the seaside tables, we sat in the rear decked area where it was sunny and still. Lots of choice on the menu for lovers of traditional Turkish dishes. We ordred three meze dishes between us and three main meals. Can recommend all of them, especially the lamb mutancana. You'll find lots of familiar Turkish dishes on the menu but also some less familair ones to try. Prices are reasonable and portions generous. Looking forward to a return visit soon.

Home Infused gins at the All New Motif Restaurant in Calis Beach, delicious authentic Turkish food. The best tasting food we had. Few teething problems as with all new places but worth a visit. Prices were on par with every other place we ate. They need a bigger social media presence. The Google site is out of date and they're not on Instagram just FB which is old news these days. The owner told they're working on it but with help. Good Luck for the future👍

Not the cheapest place to eat, but had a pleasant visit last night, the service was a bit slow but the food was delicious and a welcome change from chips, pizza and burgers offered by most restaurants in Calis. Would definitely go back for another go!

We had walked past the Motif a few times looking for places to eat and one thing that had caught my eye was the photos of the food and how colourful it was, so tonight we decided to give it a try and we weren't disappointed, we received a friendly welcome as we approached and was asked if we would like a table, the lady owner (an English lady who has lived here for 16 years) was very polite and helpful and pointed out finer point of the dishes we had ordered. When we go out we generally decide whether we have a starter or a dessert and today was dessert. Our mains arrived and looked as good as the photos in the menu and on the board, within 5 or 6 mouthfuls my wife stated that it was the best meal so far and my son and I agreed. Dessert was equally as delicious and at the end of the meal we had apple and Turkish tea on the house, we will be visiting again before we return home. Customer service was excellent from start to finish a well deserved 5 stars

Myself and my family dined here one afternoon a few weeks ago, and found the restaurant to be a delight. The weather was bad, so the roof was closed, which was a shame, but necessity. The indoor restaurant is well layed out with a comfy area to enjoy drinks, and more relaxed furniture was out the back in a lovely and bright garden area. We all enjoyed our meals, nice to have a menu to choose from, that offers something different to what's usually available. Some pretty unusual dishes available and the flavours are amazing. We left very happy and full, and couldn't fault this restaurant at all :)

Stumbled upon this place today as it caught my eye due to the decor, greenery around ithe entrance and the fact they sell felafel. Had a lovely salad and the most delicious walnut and carrot dessert with ice-cream whilst looking out into the bay. Lovely couple who run it. Very polite and good customer service. We had a lovely dinner for 2 at Motif on a Saturday night. They recently opened and we are very impressed. The staff is friendly and not pushy. The house wine is of a good quality and prices are very reasonable. As a starter we ordered the mezze platter to share and it was loads. All the bites were delicious. As a main we ordered the chicken shis kebab (the best we ever had) and a yummy salad with pomegrenate and walnuts. The restaurant was recommended to us by our lovely hotel (Delta Hotel) and it was well worth the visit. Unfortunately, it was our last evening otherwise we would definitely have visited again.

Since opening we have visited the Motif a few times. Great setting on Calis Beach and the restaurant itself is both spacious and inviting. The wide choice of food on the menu is tasty with something to suit all dinners. OK this is me, but larger portions would get the big thumbs up, but then as someone with a large appetite I say that about 90% of restaurants.😁 The Present Mrs A loved the home made gin specials, no shock there really!! So whether you are a local or someone on holiday, I'd strongly recommend a visit. And finally why only 4 out of 5 rating? Cos I believe that Dogan will only improve his new entrant on the busy Calis Beach restaurant scene. And I want room to come back later in the year, and give it a big thumbs up 5👍

When I've read fiction about Turkish history I've always had a romantic, Moorish-coloured view of everything about this amazing country, including the food that the Ottomans ate. We've been coming to Calis for 10 years now and I've always enjoyed the food in the cafes and restaurants in the resort. However, this year Calis now has the very great pleasure of a new restaurant along the front at Calis....MOTIF. I understand the new owners of this restaurant prevoiusly owned Mosaic in Fethiye, which we have enjoyed very much in our previous visits there. But....they have totally surpassed themselves with every element of Motif! The staff and level of service is impeccable...friendly and personal without being crass, cheesy, or over familiar. The menu is interesting, authentic and well described with a rich variety of tempting dishes. We choose walnut and pomegranate salad, red pepper salad and prawn casserole to begin with. This was accompanied by warm pitta bread. Totally delicious. The salads were fragrant with the skillful use of freshly grown and picked herbs and beautifully presented. The prawn casserole was awash with the sweet flavour of roasted garlic and sweet peppers with just the right amount of 'al dente'! Main courses were Sour Cherry Kebap for me and Sarmi Beyti for hubby. Accompanied with Aubergine Smoked Yogurt and Turkish Rice (with chestnuts and tiny currants) and more fresh warm bread....well we felt like we had died and gone to heaven. I ended my meal (which totally fitted with my romantic view of middle eastern cuisine), with a homemade-infused cardamom and ginger gin....the ginger was fresh and crisp as I nibbled on it from the glass once I'd taken the final sip of my gin. Will we go again? ...This is our fourth visit and I'm planning to frequent this place...well very frequently! A must for anyone coming to Calis. MOTIF is a game changer and I hope the other eating places in Calis are going to up their game! They are definitely going to need to!

But there were items on the menu at Motif that we had never heard of, and they were AMAZING. Delicious kofte with sour cherries, imaginative twists on sarma beyti kebab, beautiful desserts.
