Had a lovely meal at Amara, there were a couple of the large meatballs that were undercooked, however this was replaced immediately with freshly cooked meatballs. The staff were very friendly and they were really good to encourage you to try the local cuisine. The food, service and overall atmosphere were really impressive. It was fairly priced. One to recommend to those travelling locally to stop in and try. Visited at 19:00 and very quickly after the restaurant filled with other patrons so to avoid disappointment get in before the rush. Great venue & lovely find!

Both starters and mains were prepared and presented wonderfully. Taste and aftertaste were tops. Complimentary tea, and baklava were the cherry on top. A cat 🐈 was allowed to savour my leftovers. Fantastic spot with great service from Zaza “the king.” The presentation of the dishes and the taste was wonderful. Speak English and very welcoming. Super warm and cozy place made me want to get comfortable and take a nap. Recommend!

This little gem is located in a very cozy street around other cool restaurants. Their service was on point and their food was very delicious. They also offer shisha/hookah which can be enjoyed in their comfy chairs. Servers are very attentive and helpful. Worth the visit

Amara kebap is a nice Turkish restaurant that is situated in the old town. The restaurant is open till late , where then kitchen is open till 1am. The waiters here are very nice and professional. They prepare different kinds of Turkish kebab grilled meats and other traditional Turkish foods. I had an Adana kebap, which comes with rice, green pepper, grilled potato, onions and flat bread. The Adana meal was very flavourful, juicy. To drink I had the Ayran, a traditional Turkish yoghurt drink. Later I decided to get some Girolls which are traditional Turkish savoury pastry with cheese. The decor of the restaurant was very nice, and the atmosphere cozy. They have an outside area where you can smoke shisha This is a great place if planning to eat at a restaurant late night, and perhaps smoke a shisha.

The place is very beautiful, cozy and nicely decorated. Could be a very good place for a date. Impressive food and we didn't have to wait long. Very wide range of dishes, a bit overpriced though. The service personnel gave the impression that they were not happy about us not wanting to order anything else apart from the food we wanted.

Is an excellent restaurant. We stay in Istanbul 4 nights and 3 nights we decided to eat in Amara. Very good and the food is the best on the zone. Everything was wonderful and a very nice atmosphere (nice music, good lights and cousy. We also played backgammon with the free apple tea and the desert.

We had a delicious dinner and the best service an attention possible, with special mention to Zaza, he was amazing. A restaurant in the heart of Istambul with tasty food and good wines, however, concerning the prices be aware that nor VAT/ taxes are included on the menu, nor this fact it's written on it, so you'll get a surprise when you get the bill... Had they warned us about this, I would have given them more stars because the rest of the service worths it, but it was an unpleasant surprise.

Great place to chill, drink çay and smoke a nice hookah :)

Nice restaurant, nothing special is what I would say if I didn’t see RGB Gamer shishas, the food is okay, the tea is very exquisite though. The servers are really energetic and worth giving tip to. A good choice for going for a luxury lunch/dinner.

Ve bir kez daha verandada oturmak, mükemmel bir Margarita içmek, bir Türk tatlısının tadına bakmak, garsonların nezaketi ve ilgisi karşısında hoş bir sürpriz yapmak için küçük bir mutluluk vardı. Buraya gel. Burada sizi lezzetli bir şekilde besliyorlar, doğum gününüzü kutluyorlar, size çay ve kahve ikram ediyorlar, dileklerinizi dinliyorlar - ve dünya daha nazik görünecek.

Jedoch war dies das beste was uns in Istanbul passieren konnte. Hakim a.k.a der Ladenbesitzer höchstpersönlich hat uns empfangen und uns in das gastfreundliche und gemütliche Restaurant gesetzt. Im Vergleich zu den anderen Lokalen im Umkreis ist dies ein sehr preiswertes Lokal. Die Musik ist international und mit guter Abwechslung zwischen oldschool Musik und neuen Charts und türkischer kult Musik. Die Shishen sind sehr hochwertig und geschmackvoll. Allein durch meine Erfahrung in diesem Lokal , kann ich mir die schlechte Bewertung dieses Lokals nicht erklären. Aufjedenfall ein Standort in Istanbul welcher weiterzuempfehlen ist. 👍🏻👍🏻 Grüße aus Nürnberg/Deutschland
