Wholesome, delicious and authentic desi food. We loved it. I especially wanted to try pani puri, it was salty and tangy and crunchy, just the way you would expect it . The main dishes were delicious, wonderfully spiced and just the right amount of heat. The plain biryani was okay. The prices are not high compared to other cultural food places. Its a cozy place that I would very much like to go back. Yemekler geleneksel ve hayli lezzetli. İlk kez deneyeceklere pani puri, samosa ve butter chicken denemelerini kesinlikle tavsiye ederim. Nisan 2023 fiyatları muadillerine göre uygun. Kişi başı 200 tl ye buradan doyarak ayrılabilirsiniz.

Chicken biryani süperdi. İlk defa Pakistan - hint yemekleri yedim. Çok hoşuma gitti. Her kaşıkta ayrı bir tat aldım. Aşırı bir acı tat yoktu. Ayran bizim ayrana göre biraz daha yağlı gibi geldi ama güzeldi o da. Mekân da gayet temiz idi ayrıca. Bundan sonra İstanbul'a her geldiğimde uğrayacağım adreslerin başında olacak.

İnternette okuduğum güzel yorumlara istinaden gittim. Butter Chicken, sade biryani ve pani puri yedim. Hepsi oldukça lezzetliydi. Özellikle tavuk gerçekten çok iyidi. Fiyatlar ucuz değil, hatta mekana göre biraz pahalı bile sayılabilir (esnaf lokantası tarzı bir yer) ancak bir porsiyon yemekle normal bir insan doyar, o sebeple normal diyebiliriz. Puan kırmamin sebebi ise temizlik konusu oldu. Temizlik konusunu düzeltmeleri gerekiyor. Gelen bardaklar lekeliydi, koltukların üzerinde yağlı lekeler vardı. Tuvaletler de aynı şekilde kötü durumda. Özetle, lezzetler güzel, fiyatlar ortalama ama titizseniz rahat edemeyebilirsiniz.

I went to this restaurant twice because I loved it so much. I absolutely suggest you guys to go here to try the amazing Indian food when you are travelling to Istanbul. The service, food and the staff. So humble. Loved my experience here. The food was a 10 on 10 for me. Especially after walking around exploring the city the entire. The feeling of dinner here was amazing!

Perfecttttt. The waiters, the food, the restaurant... Clean. Delicious. Kind. First place in Istanbul to go to taste indian food. Just to add, biryani was too hot for me. If you will taste it for the first time, let the waiter know about how hot you want. I suggest everyone to try chicken tika masala. It was the best one to me. Biryani as portion, more than expectation. You can share it with 4 people. We did not wait too much after we ordered our food, so they are fast too. Go there and taste.

After spending a month in Çorlu, me and my wife came to Türkiye for the weekend. Needless to say, we were craving desi food like anything. The very first morning we started searching for restaurants offering desi cuisine and Nosh e Jaan came to our attention. 1. We ordered Murgh Chhole for delivery, and it was so much better than my expectations. They were juicy, spicy yet savory and not dry or bland at all. The packaging was superb, the quantity was GENEROUS, and they served it with sides of onion and mint raita! We ordered 2 Naans with them which were also good. We immediately knew we had to go to the place as well. 2. On our first visit there we ordered Chana Chaat and Pani Puri. Chana Chaat was scrumptious, Pani Puri was also good but the quantity was a bit questionable (Only 04 Gol Gappay, like come on man). We also ordered Chaaye and it felt just like home😍❤️ 3. Finally, we went during dinner time, ordered Biryani and Malai Boti. Both were good. Biryani quantity was enough for 1.5 persons I'd say and the taste was OK. Malai Boti was not like the soft, creamy Malai Boti we have in Pakistan, but it was a different blend of 08 chicken pieces sauteed and served in a blend of butter and oil. I liked it. The owner is a kind lady from Karachi, and she was ever so sweet to us. Even though I had a personal reference at Ali Baba Büfe, which also serves Pakistani food in Taksim Area, I'd recommend Nosh e Jaan more than any other desi restaurant in Istanbul at least. P.S: Only deducted a star coz I can't give 4.5 😅.

The food was absolutely delicious, the waiters were very friendly and helpful, the portions are pretty generous for that price and the vibe was great . it’s one of the best indian food I tried in İstanbul 🔥I would absolutely recommend it. One small observation is that the restrooms are a bit dirty and needs more attention.

The food was the best Indian food I've ever had. The tastes blew me away, and the portions were really satisfying. As far as pricing goes, we paid 180 lira per person with lots of food and beverages. The waiting time is long(especially if your company is more than 5-6 people). For us it took almost an hour. But I'll conclude yo this, good things come to those who wait.

The best thing to say when someone enters your restaurant is "welcome" If a guest has to ask permission to sit, then you have already failed in being hospitable. Nothing can replace feeling welcome in a restaurant, and no matter how good, or inexpensive the food is, if a guest doesn't feel welcome, they will not return.

We ordered chicken karahi, dal makhni and naan breads. The dal and breads were pretty decent but the main dish (chicken) was a bit of a disappointment. I'd like to write a pretty balanced review of this restaurant, because overall I think it's a nice place. I've probably been here nine times, and have been really pleased during seven of my visits. The food is very reasonably priced, and the chicken and paneer dishes I've tried have been very delicious. I grew up eating palak paneer cooked by our family friend from Bengaluru, and have traveled to India many times, and Nosh-E-Jaan's palak is the closest thing to that I've found in Istanbul that can compare. The food always tastes fresh and is warm, something that needs to be considered when eating at Indian/Pakastani restaurants in Istanbul. The portions are a bit smaller than its competitors, but they're still plenty. It's usually one of the restaurants I recommend to my friends as well. However, I went twice this week and was disappointed in the service each time. The first situation is slightly more understandable, as the restaurant was very busy. I was dining alone and sat for about fifteen minutes without anyone coming to take my order or greet me. I left, because I was quite hungry, and considered it a one off. Every other time I had visited the restaurant, they had taken good care of me. I went again with the hope of getting takeaway service a couple nights later. I wanted to arrive after the dinner rush, so I arrived forty minutes before Google advertised that they were closing. I've never had a problem ordering at this time in Istanbul, but was informed that the kitchen closed an hour before the restaurant. This wasn't listed on Google, however I was informed that the takeaway apps stop working for them an hour before they close. Disappointed, I went elsewhere for my dinner. Even with the last two negative experiences, I would still recommend this place, but would advise calling in advance and making sure you have plenty of time to sit and eat in case the service is moving pretty slowly.

Yes! We were so excited to try this place and happened to be the first customers for the day. They apologized that it might take a little longer than usual since they just opened. It did not take long at all! The food was excellent. And everyone was so incredibly attentive and nice. Several times they asked us if we had enough food and if we needed anything. We have eaten at most of Istanbul's Indian restaurants and this new arrival on the scene wins for two reasons: tasty and well-cooked food (that is not swimming in oil) and absolutely excellent prices - by far the best value of any Indian restaurant in the city. But inexpensive doesn't mean they compromise on quality - our veggie pakoras were excellent, the main Veggie biryani, Aloo Palak (spinach and potato) and the Baygun Bharta (smoked aubergine) dishes were excellent, and cooked to perfection. Add to this very friendly and polite service, and an excellent location in Pera - just a few footsteps away from Istiklal Cadessi (the main shopping street of the whole city), and it's undoubtedly a winner!
