The staff are so attentive and ready to help here, it's amazing. They helped me out with a phone charger when my battery died which you don't want in a foreign holiday. The food was great too and huge portions so you won't leave hungry. I sat inside which was nice and warm on a cold night. Hand on heart great staff. 😃

On first day in Istanbul, didn't know where to eat as was new to the place, after looking around and finding the prices as same or higher than the UK. we came to this place. The guy outside promised 2 free starters, free turkish tea and 10% off the bill. so we thought ok let's have a go and was getting ready to be scammed The food came and it was good but portions were quite small. At the end when the bill came, they were true to their word. They showed me that they haven't included the starters and tea and showed me the 10% off the bill. I have to give it to them for that. Would recommend going to this place If you are in the sultanahmet area and don't mind paying uk prices.

The food was tasty, we enjoyed it. Prices are ok, little bit higher, but still acceptable. We got apetizers and bread for free, also the tea/coffee + baklava at the end. After food we had a hookah, which unfortunately we didn't like. They made us a new one, to give it a second try, that was sweet and much appriciated. The guys were quite busy and for example dri drinks took quite a long time to prepare, but food was served quickly. After all it was a good experience.

Garson Ersan, kalışımızı çok keyifli hale getirdi ve ayrıca genel olarak İstanbul hakkında tavsiyelerde bulundu. Hatta bizimle rahatça oturmak için zaman ayırdı. Restoranda bize karşı çok dürüstlerdi ve bizi soymaya çalışmadılar. Aksine ödeme yaptıktan sonra bize çay ve baklava verdiler. Keşke bu kadar şanslı olmadığımız ve sık sık turist dolandırıcılığına maruz kaldığımız İstanbul'daki tüm restoranlar böyle olsa.

İstanbul'daki son gecemizde burada yemek yedik, 2 mercimek çorbası, bir tavuk, bir pilav ve bir kuzu Pide sipariş ettik. Çorbalar çok iyi ve iyi baharatlıydı. Pilav güzelce pişti ve pide gerçekten çok lezzetliydi. Bize Türkiye'ye özgü nefis bir tatlı olan baklava ikram ettiler. Burada da kişiye çok samimi ve özenli çalışan adamlara özel bir övgü. Bir amphora içinde pişen kebabın nasıl hazırlanıp açıldığının gösterimi ise oldukça ilgi çekici. Final 3 kişi için 30 avroya mal oldu.

Ersan is the best host we've met across several countries. A really cosy place, great selection of sisha, drinks and most of all, HONEST and friendly service. Really nice experience. The staff are really friendly and welcome. We had nice Shashi and tea here. The staff showed us how to smoke the Shashi and made a video for us. It's cold outside but they have a very strong warming light to keep it warm and cosy. The overall atmosphere is very classic Turkish as well. Would highly recommend whoever drops nearby and try this lovely restaurant.

Great place for dinner in Sultanahmet area, delicious food, very friendly staff. They speak good english. The prices are very good, especially taking into account the area. Adana kebap was around 90 TRY, glass of wine was around 70TRY (prices in March 2022), they serve apetizers, baklava and tea as a compliment.

I stopped by Sultan Palace just few days ago and I'm still impressed by the kindness and the excellent care they had with me as a guest. I had Turkish kebap with pistachio for dinner, it was so delicious. The meal comes with their typical sauces -spicy and mint yogurt- that I loved. I also recommend everyone their tea (chai), it seemed to me it tastes like jasmine, I asked for confirmation to a waiter but he didn't know actually, he just said it's Turkish tea but I couldn't find anything of that sort in other restaurants, that one was the best I had in Istanbul! Since I expressed my appreciation to the waiters they were so kind to offer me another one and since I told I had not tried a Bataklava (a pastry dessert, for those who don't know) so far, one of the guys wanted me to try it. Besides being a good dinner I'd say it has been an amazing experience, in good company and with a relaxing athmosphere.

To be honnest the food was good , but there is in general some weird stuff happening when you will pay , they give you something saying that it is for free , and then you will find an amount appearing on your bill .. just pay more attention with that , and if you made a mistake you can just say that you are sorry and just cancel it .
