Chilli momo ve gobi mancuryan kesinlikle tavsiyedir. Chilli momo etli tercih edebilirsiniz. Yediğimiz her şey çok lezzetliydi. Lassi denemekte kararsız kaldık, mekandaki beyefendi ikram etti. Tadı bayaa muzlu süt ama ilginç şekilde yemeklerle güzel gitti. İşletmenin tek sıkıntısı konum ve mekanın kendisi açıkçası. Yemekler mükemmel ve fiyatlar uygun, işletme sahibi çok yardımcı ve ilgili. Keşke biraz daha özenli ve güzel bir restoran ortamı olsa, ilk gittiğimizde 3 kadın oturmaya biraz korktuk açıkçası fakat iyi ki gitmişiz.

Ttukba ve kızarmış Momo sipariş ettim. Üç haftadır kebaptan bıkmış ruhu iyileştiren bir lezzetti. Ttukba en baharatlısıydı ama Shin Ramyun'dan biraz daha baharatlı mıydı? Momo'nun Nepal'de de yediği çok lezzetli bir kızarmış köfteydi. Sahibi çok nazikti ve mutlu bir akşamdı.

A good restaurant experience, where authentic Nepali (or Indian) food is cooked and served with love. The owner made the atmosphere very homely and treated me with kindness. Plenty of vegan/vegetarian options. I recommend the dumplings (momos) and tea ☕ Note: Some dishes take 10-15 mins to prepare but it's WORTH the wait.

Ttukba, biryari, kızarmış momo ve Çin usulü tavada kızartılmış erişte (adını unuttum) yedim ve lassi içtim. Genel olarak lezzetlidir ve biryari yerseniz, patron size kendi yaptığınız kimchiyi verir ama onlar size olgun kimchi verir. En iyi seçimim Ttukba! Egzotik bir kkokkomyeon çorbası gibi tadı var. Sıcak çorba yemek isterseniz bence burası iyi olur. Biryari'de çok fazla egzotik baharat var, bu yüzden baharatları çiğnerseniz (çekirdek gibi görünenleri çiğnerseniz daha küçük tohumlar çıkar ama bu koku çok güçlüdür), bu yüzden dikkatli olmalısınız. . Vegansanız, vegan yiyecekleri de yiyebilirsiniz. Miktar da büyük. Doyasıya yiyebileceksiniz.

Be aware you will have a 20-40 minute wait because everything is made fresh to order. The wait is definitely worth it. Also bring a big appetite because the portions are pretty big. As almost every review mentions the owner is fantastic and very fríendly. Highly recommend, and we will be back a second time for sure!

Incredible!!! Must try... The food quantity and quality is exceptional... Loved their service and hospitality. We requested chicken chow mein, chicken steam momo and mutton thali (It was mutton and not lamb, so +1 for that) You'll definitely not hunt for pieces here and the taste is just perfect. No service charges included, so another +1 for that Make sure you are ready to wait for 10/15mins after ordering cause the chef's do the fresh cooking there and there. Well i couldnt have asked for a better indian food in Istanbul. Everyone in the restaurant was very friendly and the food was amazing. I ordered Veg momos, veg pakoras and choola puri (its more choola bhatura than puri) and everything was delicious. A small food paradise tucked just a few meters away from the hustling Istikbal kaddesi. Very authentic, all the dishes were freshly prepared and it felt like we were enjoying the local taste in Kathmandu itself. One of the best Biryanis I have tasted till date in Europe itself, full with spices. Not bland and dry to cater to the European taste buds as I had experienced in many countries in Europe.

We started off with Panipuri, which is a fried hard shell filled with onions and herbs. It was a great starter, and the spicy mixture to fill it was delicious and sufficiently spicy. We also got fried Momo, a kind of dumpling with chicken, which was very delicious along with the spicy sauce it came along with. Another starter for us was vegetable Pakora, which surprised us with its simplicity as it was only fried vegetables, but still impressive. For main dish, we got Thali, which is a plate of chicken curry, rice, dhal soup and many salads and mezes. Chicken curry and rice were very tasty and spicy, and the dhal soup provided an alternative to their spiciness as kind of a palate cleanser. All of the accompanying salads were great but we especially enjoyed the soybeans, which had amazing texture and taste. All in all, Himalayan restaurant was one of the best cost-effective dining experiences I've ever had in Istanbul, and I can't wait to visit again to experience all the dishes. As a 3 person group, we paid 330 TL for all of the above and drinks, and left very satisfied.

The food was delicious and the wait for it to be cooked really didn't seem that long to me. The owner is very kind, and I'm very happy to hear how well the restaurant has been doing. This is my first time having chicken biryani, as well as lassi (I tried the banana lassi) and I loved both of them!

This is a hidden gem of a Nepalese restaurant in Istanbul. Rajan the owner was incredibly friendly often checking in on us and giving his recommendations from the menu. I came as a group of 5 and most of us selected the thali (pictured) which is a mixed platter including a curry and several sides with unlimited rice. The curry source was delicious, I would recommend the chicken, and the sides are plentiful and varied. Overall it was an amazing experience!

Best place to eat Nepali Food in Istanbul. We ordered Chicken Thali, Mutton Thali and Chicken Momo which came with lots of different side dishes. The owner is such a nice person, very hospitable and speaks englisch perfectly. We felt very well welcomed and even went twice during our trip to Istanbul. The momos and the thali are great but beware that it might be spicy for people who are not that much used to spicy food. He prepared everything vegan for me and even asked us whether we are vegan or vegetarian. Everything is also prepared fresh!

SOUTH AFRICANS IN ISTANBUL - we were so tired of the usual tourist food and longed something different and spicy. What a lovely surprise this restaurant was. Husband and I came by here on an impulse because of the other great reviews. The food was amazing. Some of the best chicken biryani I’ve ever had, I would 100% bring our parents here. The mutton curry was also very good and reminds me of marak lahm. The food was the perfect amount of spice (I don’t like a lot of spice but husband does, and we were both happy). The food took awhile but it was all made fresh and they were nice enough to give us tea while we waited. Would definitely come again.

Amazing food. PERIOD. Service was great, food delicious, and the staff was very friendly, always making sure I have everything I need. The menu shows gluten-free and vegan options as well, which is very helpful. The vegetarian pakora and vegetarian curry masala were just epic! Generous portions as well, priced reasonably. The place is simple but neat and from the first step you feel that the staff wants you to have a good culinary experience. Definitely better than other Indian and Pakistani restaurants in Istanbul, that's for sure. And not just because of the food, just the general experience makes you leave very satisfied (and full!). We ordered momos. They were fried so the texture for my were a little strange to me as I've only ever had them steamed. The panipur were great. The thali was huge! Not sure how I felt about. Got to this place after a long trek (walk, bus etc) as we were in a different part of Istanbul. I was hoping the food would be worth the effort, and it totally was. The momos and samosas were just fantastic, and the vegetarian thali was just too good. There is something about simple Nepali food that gets us every time. The restaurant is humble and simple, the owner was friendly and helpful in describing patiently all the dishes. Service needs to be improved, everything is cooked fresh as they said but it was a long wait for some appetizers (around 30 min for pakhora and momo) and even longer for chicken masala and thali ( about 45 min). Food was traditionally delicious and it is worth a try. Suggested to place your order in advance before going so you dont wait that much. It is not a five since they have lot of room to improve.
